The very few first few pages of your bullet journal are made for your Index.
What is the Index?
Exactly like any other book, the Index is where the Bullet Journal start making sense. As you start to use your inchiostro and paper notebook, simply add the topics of your life (also called Collections) and their page numbers here, so you can quickly find them at any point.

Setting up your Index is easy-peasy. Leave the first couple pages of your notebook empty but title them “Index.” As you start to use your bullet journal, you'll add the topics of your entries and their page numbers to the Index, so you can quickly find your them later.
